BEND THE RULES

Cross-pollinating between figuration and abstraction, my paintings and sculptures evidence a process of material discovery and a challenge of one’s perceptions. My curving metalworks create a distortion of reality and how I am viewed as a femme-bodied subject. My painted worldview addresses the industrial sublime, technological transformation, and the environmental Zeitgeist and my body’s placement within these circumstances.
