I painted this glowing cluster of yellow Daffodils as meditations on care, reciprocity, and interdependence. The gardener sustains both human and nonhuman worlds through unseen, rooted systems. I believe that our approach to building economies should be less mechanical and more sustainable as in gardening. That is, attentive, cyclical, and collaborative with natural ecosystems.
